Yunno that whole idea of future humans having "to dig" to learn about our generation? I don't fully get it. Cus my thinking is that we're in the age of advanced communication now. We can store, preserve, and pass on info better than we could ever. We can even compress our info onto tiny usbs, compared to books. And even with books and paintings, we've learned so much about events from the last few 1000 years. We know that we went through the plague, built castles, and about some guy named spartacus. Then writing became more advanced because of the print and press and typewriters, so now we still can read a book written in the 1700 - 1800s. So as long as we continue to update, preserve, and protect our data libraries, museums, or info, the future shouldn't really have oodles to dig for. Unless you think that's more fun.

youtube 12,000 years from now: Imagine someone coming into your house and taking a few wormholes, a hologram machine, and your quantum computer. Then, they bury it in the woods. 12,000 years later, an archaeologist is trying to figure out who you were. Because you happened to live at a remarkable time in human history: the Galactic Revolution. When humanity transitioned from being an interstellar species to being an intergalactic species. While we can only hope that this will be someone's problem in 12,000 years, we have the same problem today.

7:09 It was said earlier before: the people with settlements forced the other ones to become farmers too ( 5:43 ) by having strongholds (cities, town, villages, fortified settlements), better technology and most important: being superior in number. But nomadic people never ceased entirely like in areas where agriculture was hardly feasible like in deserts or desert like areas: hence the nomads cultures in Mongolia or the Sahara, which at times developed an impressive military power, but never drove our technological evolution. 7:35 and that war and the conquering of other people never plays a role here....no they visited and celebrated together.

Sad reading these comments knowing the way we're going, humans are going to be extinct. This is why we have to start making immediate changes to preserve our planet and our race. If not, it might be too late for us as a species. Not to mention the earth and everything on it.

Thank you, humans from the past and the future. You made me walk again when I destroyed my knee. Cured me with the medicines you developed a long time ago every time I got sick. Made technology that allowed me to meet amazing people from the other side of the globe. Made outstanding videos like this for other humans to enjoy. I try to contribute as much as possible to our technological world, doing my best at work, and helping other humans when possible, although its so small compared to everything else you did for me. I will be gone in a few decades, but you will keep going, you will end suffering one day, expand your realm to other worlds, even reach the stars of the sky.
